Salt & Pepper

Cheese Pizza (5 out of 5)

Every time I pass through New York City I make sure to plan my schedule accordingly so I can make a pit stop here for a quick lunch or dinner. Despite some poor online reviews, I think Salt & Pepper has the best tasting cheese pizza out there. The sauce has the best flavor of any pizza I've tasted, the crust is delicious and overall it's an incredible slice. Plus, if you can get there during certain hours you might get to enjoy their $1.00 slice special.

"The Choc-a-holic"  (5 out of 5)

Every time I hear people say that IHOP has the best pancakes around I always start to feel sad for the person because I know that it means they have never experienced Chip's Family Restaurant located in Connecticut. As Mr. Chip's tells us in the commercials, Chip's Family Restaurant is known for having over 40 great varieties of pancakes that will never let you down. My favorite location is the original Chip's located in Orange, Connecticut. They also have locations in Fairfield and most recently, Trumbull.

The Choc-a-holic is my go to meal whenever I go to a Chip's. You have the option of either getting 3 or 5 pancakes, of which the 5 will cost you $8.29. Despite the price being somewhat high you won't regret it. On top of the chocolate chip pancakes you get some whipped cream, chocolate syrup drizzled on top, chocolate chips, and the one ingredient that blows it away, white chocolate chips. The white chips take the flavor to a whole other universe. Top quality pancakes, from a top quality restaurant.
